Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass

This Sunday is the first we will be joined by Rev. Patti Case (see her bio in The Messenger and in the bulletins on Sunday morning).  We will have Patti with us through Labor Day weekend, as she is helping us out as Interim Minister as Jim Warren's leave of absence comes to an end.  She will preach on Luke 10:1-11 at both the 9:00 a.m traditional service and the 10:15 a.m. progressive service (One and All) this Sunday.  The sermon will be the first in a series.  The series name is, "So You Think You Want to Get Dusty for Jesus?" and the sermon title this Sunday is, "Hit the Road, Church."

We will be blessed with a Gift of Music at the 9:00 a.m. service -- a duet by Claire and Carolyn Stucky.  At the 10:15 a.m. One and All service you can hear upbeat praise music by the band while you enjoy a complimentary light breakfast.

Important note for everyone:
When you get to church, find Vision and Mission Statements outlined in the 9:00 a.m. bulletin. They have been modified since announced on July 14 because of your input. We will vote on them Sunday  morning at a Congregational Meeting directly after the 9:00 service, so if you plan to attend the One and All service, stop by the sanctuary around 10:00 before you go to Fellowship Hall.

food_drive_girl.jpg Gifts for Another Table:
We continue to collect for the Home Sweet Home Mission!  Won't you bring a couple of items each Sunday for this worthy ministry?  Needed are rice and rice dinners, potato dinners, pasta of any kind, pasta sauce, Hamburger Helper, dinner meals, cereal, mashed/boxed potatoes, and canned fruits and vegetables.
