In our Fall Sermon series, beginning this Sunday, Rev. Jim Warren's sermons will follow the current Prayer Group topics with the theme, "Listening to God."
We will be blessed again with a gift of music by the Chancel Choir, including Drexler Singers, at the 9:00 a.m. traditional service. Our band at the 10:15 progressive One and All service in Fellowship Hall will be on a break this Sunday, but we will have familiar music on lyric videos that will inspire our worship. Bring a friend and enjoy breakfast together during the service!
Wandering in the Wilderness" is the sermon title. God led the Israelites for forty years in the wilderness. Sometimes we feel like we're wandering in our own wildernesses. Where is God when we're wandering in what seems like wilderness?
Gifts for Another Table:
We did a great job in August. Let's do it again in September! Non-perishable food items brought to church this month will be given to Center for Hope Food Pantry. Needed items include: rice & rice dinners, pasta of any kind, pasta sauce, Hamburger Helper, dinner meals, cereal, mashed/boxed potatoes, and canned fruits and vegetables.
