Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass

This Sunday we will have only ONE service, at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary.  Rev. Jim Warren will be preaching on Luke 2:41-52, and his sermon title is, "Looking for Jesus."  About the sermon, Jim says, "In this story of the twelve-year-old boy Jesus in the Temple, we watch Joseph and Mary frantically looking for their son, only to find him in the Temple. This is the last we'll hear of Jesus for about 20 years. Sometimes we don't encounter Jesus where we expect Jesus to be. Where will we find Jesus in 2019? Probably in unexpected places."

The Chancel Choir will be ready with seasonal  hymns, and Lydia and Holly Irvin are preparing a beautiful gift of music, "The Rose of Bethlehem," all accompanied by our talented organist, Lou Ann Fillingham.

Next Sunday, January 6, we will return to our regular schedule of 9:00 traditional and 10:15 progressive worship.
