Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass

On her final Sunday with us as Interim Minister, Rev. Patti Case will be preaching in both services about our church priorities.  Read the scripture ahead of time here:  Luke 14:1-14, and come hear her sermon, Rewrite the Guest List, at the 9:00 a.m traditional service or the 10:15 a.m. progressive service (One and All).  The sermon will be the final in a series, which she's named, "So You Think You Want to Get Dusty for Jesus?"   Thank you, Patti, for your unending energy and passion, and for sharing your spiritual guidance and wisdom with us as we move ahead with our newly-formed Mission and Vision Statements.

At the 9:00 a.m. service our Gift of Music will be sung by Marla McElroy and John Hensley -- two talented singers who are preparing a beautiful, inspiring number.  At the 10:15 a.m. One and All service we will have a talented band to keep your toes tapping while you worship with hot coffee and light breakfast in hand.

Please remember that next week at FCC there will be only a brief service in the sanctuary at 9:00 a.m.  Worship in the Park is open to everyone (hint: invite friends and family!), and will start at 10:15 a.m. at Fairview Park in Normal.  Lunch will be at 11:00 a.m.   If you are able, bring a lawn chair and dish to pass.  Fried chicken will be provided.   Rev. Jim Warren will be preaching and we welcome him "Home!"

Can't attend either service this Sunday?  Tune in on Facebook (go to our Facebook Page), or on our website (www.blmfcc.com) to see a live stream!  You can watch the 9:00 a.m. service and worship along with those at FCC Sunday morning!  This capability is still in its testing stage, so please be patient with any glitches.  We welcome critiques and praise!  Tell your friends!
