We will be joined by Rev. Dr. Herb Knudsen at the 9:00 a.m traditional service and the 10:15 a.m. progressive service this Sunday. His sermon title is, "Take Care! Guard Against!!" The scripture passage is
Luke 12:13-21. Many of you know Herb,
who served as Senior Minister here from 1990 until his call in 1998 to become Regional Minister and President for Illinois and Wisconsin.
We will be blessed with another Gift of Music at the 9:00 a.m. service -- this time it will be a solo by the talented Jeff Courtright. The 10:15 a.m. One and All service boasts a band (they're back!) as well as unique prayer stations. Come worship and enjoy a light breakfast while you're there.
Gifts for Another Table:
This is the first Sunday we'll collect for the Home Sweet Home Mission! Won't you bring a couple of items each Sunday for this worthy ministry? Needed are rice and rice dinners, potato dinners, pasta of any kind, pasta sauce, Hamburger Helper, dinner meals, cereal, mashed/boxed potatoes, and canned fruits and vegetables.
