Though we have shared the news of the passing of Sharon Warren yesterday, we ask that you continue to keep Jim and family in prayer for comfort and peace. See the Prayer Concerns section below for details of the visitation and funeral. Sharon's obituary is here:
obituary
Jim's leave of absence continues and we are blessed that Rev. Neal Kentch has agreed to join us this Sunday. He will be preaching on
John 20:19-29. His sermon title: Where God Is.
This is Silver & Gold Sunday, when we celebrate those who have been married 25, or 50 or more, years. If you have submitted a photo, watch for it in a slideshow at both services. We will also ask those being honored to share with us how long they have been married.
At the 9:00 a.m. service we will be blessed with a solo by Carolyn Stucky. At the 10:15 a.m. progressive service our talented One and All Band will keep our toes tapping. Come worship and enjoy a light breakfast!
Gifts for Another Table:
Only a couple more Sundays to bring items for the Ministry and More food pantry. Please bring rice and rice dinners, potato dinners, pasta of any kind, pasta sauce, Hamburger Helper, dinner meals, cereal, mashed/boxed potatoes, and canned fruits and vegetables. Thank you!

Reminders
Things to Do While
You Are at Church
Support the Warren Family by stopping by the Mary and Martha Benefit display in the Centrum (if you can't make the benefit on Saturday). Proceeds from the sale of the beautiful products will go to the Warren Family. See the First Christian Church of Bloomington Facebook
Event Page for details and specials.
Drop Off School Supplies and Other Items. No Block Party
this year, but Reach Out will be collecting supplies for Sheridan School and Bent School. Please consider purchasing school supplies and bringing them to the tote by the Info Desk. Also, gently used tennis shoes, coats, clothes for kids
to change into in case of accidents, and new boys' and girls' underwear are needed.
Learn about Recycling/Trash Guidelines. Watch the pre-worship and Centrum slides in the coming weeks. Also, find the guidelines attached to or posted near the prominent recycling bins throughout the building. Please be sure you are using the appropriate bins when disposing of items. Thank you!
Volunteer to Help Around FCC. Find signup sheets at the Info Desk.
Drop off your Box Tops for Education in the Disciples Women's Ministries mailbox outside the church office door.
Make a new friend! Greet a visitor. Greet someone another member has greeted! Several contacts truly make a person feel welcome. A great resource for helping a visitor is the bulletin, and you can also walk them to the Info Desk for another warm greeting and more information.
"Check In" on Facebook while you are at church.
