| | | Key Leader Highlight: Chief Advancement Officer, Nate Kretzmann | | Mr. Nate Kretzmann is in his eighth year of dedicated service at Crean Lutheran, currently serving as our Chief Advancement Officer. He initially joined our community after feeling a clear calling from God to support the school’s mission and embrace its ministry. Growing up, Mr. Kretzmann was a well-rounded student who played sports, participated in the music department, and served in student government. Looking back on his time here, one of his favorite memories is last year's El Salvador mission trip, which he experienced alongside our wonderful students and staff. Mr. Kretzmann’s ultimate advice for high schoolers is to focus on who Christ says they are and to find their true value in Him. He encourages students to turn away from comparison, lean into love, live with joy, and extend abundant grace to others. His favorite scripture is 1 John 3:16-18. Our 2026 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 30, at 9:00 a.m., at Mariners Church in Irvine. This is a ticketed event; all attendees must have a physical ticket. The Saints community is welcome to join the celebration by watching the YouTube Livestream.
Alumni, you are invited to attend Graduation to support the Class of 2026 and welcome them into the alumni family. If you are interested in attending, RSVP by May 22.

Registration is now open for 2026 Summer Sports Training! Strongly encouraged for all athletes, this is a great opportunity to build skills, meet teammates, and prepare for the season. Coaches also evaluate development during this time. Athletic clearance is required prior to participation, and Exer Urgent Care offers free physicals from May to July.

| | Sapphire at School - Saints Café Menus | | Crean Lutheran Athletics celebrates two incredible CIF Division 3 Championships! Noah Richardson captured the CIF Division 3 Pole Vault Championship with a jump of 14 feet, 11 inches, one foot higher than the second-place finisher, and will now advance to the Masters Meet this Saturday. In addition, our Boys Golf Team claimed the CIF Division 3 Championship, shooting an outstanding 388 in tough conditions to secure the title by 10 strokes. This marks the second CIF Championship in program history for Boys Golf. Congratulations to all of our student-athletes and coaches on these outstanding accomplishments! | | | |
We are proud to share that Emma Byun has been named a 2026 Orange County High School Artist of the Year Fine Arts Semifinalist. Emma was one of just 15 students selected from a field of 164 nominees and was recognized at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
A member of Crean Lutheran’s Visual Arts Conservatory and National Arts Honor Society, Emma creates work exploring identity, connection, and the human experience through the lens of her Korean-American heritage. Congratulations, Emma, on this outstanding accomplishment!
