Trees for Troops sales are now open! Order your Christmas tree, a Tree for the Troops, and other festive decor by Friday, November 28, to bless Crean Lutheran Student-Athletes, Athletics, and Missions! The adorable Reindeer and Snowmen sell out every year - so order now!

All items will be ready for pick-up between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, at the Crean Lutheran Athletic Complex. Any items not picked up will be donated to military families at the Pendleton Base.

Giving Tuesday is coming soon!

This year on Giving Tuesday, Crean Lutheran is offering our community an opportunity to give towards a special project on the upcoming El Salvador Mission Trip called 'Ave's Place' in memory of Avarie Tierney, Class of 2023. 'Ave's Place' will be a resource center for developmentally disabled children and adults in the city of San Salvador. Avarie participated twice in this mission trip and was gifted by God with a heart to serve and share the Gospel with the nations. 

With Hope, The Amber Craig Memorial Foundation Parent Webinar, November 19

On Wednesday, November 19, at 6:00 p.m., Annette Craig and Patti Ferraro from With Hope, The Amber Craig Memorial Foundation, will host a webinar for Crean Lutheran parents and guardians. With Hope is dedicated to suicide prevention through improving mental health awareness and education in our schools and throughout our community. During the webinar, parents will hear information on how to recognize the risk factors and warning signs for suicide, as well as how to talk to teens about their mental health and suicide prevention.

Sweats 4 Saints - November 21

Friday, November 21, is Sweats 4 Saints day! Similar to Jeans 4 Jesus, students who wish to participate can bring $2 and wear their sweats. All donations will support SEEDS Therapy, a Christian counseling practice that provides Christ-centered mental health care to students in K–12 Christian schools and their communities.

Pajamas and leggings are not permitted; sweats and joggers only. Students must wear a Crean Lutheran spirit shirt, polo, or sweatshirt with their sweats. Students out of dress code will be issued a dress code violation.

American Legion Auxiliary California Girls State 

ALA California Girls State is a work and study program in functional government. Current issues are discussed in group sessions and during the legislative process. The ALA California Girls State program is a highly worthwhile and valuable opportunity for students who have completed their Junior year to participate in a week-long session focused on learning, responsible citizenship, and leadership. The art of civil debate is one of the main skills learned at this premier program, hosted by the American Legion Auxiliary since 1937. Many ALA Girls State participants have gone on to a lifetime of service to our country in the military, civil service, or advocacy.
