In addition to commemorating our 19th year of ministry, we rejoice in a new chapter of your student’s journey as they engage with devoted Christian teachers, build positive relationships with their peers, and explore a wealth of academic and co-curricular opportunities.

Limited Spots Left, Register Today: Northern California College Tour 2025

Limited spots left, so please register today! Are you interested in attending college in Northern California, or just seeing what different college campuses are like? Crean Lutheran invites you to join faculty & staff on a Northern California College Tour with IST Campus Tours. This three-day, two-night trip will include visits to UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and San Jose State University. Tour dates are Wednesday, October 1, through Friday, October 3, 2025. Bus transportation, hotel accommodations, and all meals are included. Spots are limited, so register today using the link below!

Students who want to attend must complete the registration and deposit through IST Tours. Final payments are due ASAP. Registrations will be accepted until spots are filled, so please register today! Students will be placed in double occupancy rooms and may request a roommate based on those who sign up. When signing up through IST Tours, you are bound by their terms and conditions.

Academic Team Rush - August 19

Academic Team Rush will be held on Tuesday, August 19, during lunch. Cohorts, Honors Societies, Academic Teams, Speech and Debate, Robotics, MUN, and Mock Trial will have tables for students to visit. Please stop by our tables to learn more about our Academic Programs.

GLOW Pep Rally - August 21

Our first Pep Rally of the 2025-2026 school year is Thursday, August 21. We will be following the Assembly Bell Schedule, so make sure to note the adjusted class times. At the pep rally, we will sit by grade level. Please refer to this map to see where to sit!

All students are encouraged to wear their class colors to school. Theme Day Dress Code rules apply.

Our neon GLOW class colors are:

• Seniors - Pink
• Juniors - Blue
• Sophomores - Yellow
• Freshmen - Green

GLOW Dance - August 23

We are so excited for the 2025 GLOW Dance! This is the first dance of the year and a time to show your class spirit! The dance will be held on Saturday, August 23, from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. on campus in the Event Center. Students are encouraged to wear their class glow colors: Seniors - Pink, Juniors - Blue, Sophomores - Yellow, Freshmen - Green.

The Glow Dance is open to Crean Lutheran students only - no guests will be allowed to attend this dance. Tickets will be available for purchase starting on Monday, August 18 at 8:00 a.m. through Friday, August 22 at NOON. Tickets will be sold through GoFan only. Students must have a valid Crean Lutheran student ID number to purchase a dance ticket. Tickets are $35 for all students. Late tickets at the door will be $60.

NEW TICKET POLICY: Dance ticket sales for the 2025-2026 school year will conclude at noon on the Friday before the dance. If a ticket is not purchased by the deadline, students will be able to purchase a ticket at the door with a late fee added (cash or check only).

All Crean Lutheran Dance Rules for appropriate dress and student behavior must be followed.

Back to School Night - September 4

On Thursday, September 4, we are excited to welcome parents on campus for Back to School Night, which begins with an optional Canvas Parent Help Session. Attend a brief plenary session and then follow your student’s schedule to meet each of your students’ teachers. Parents who are new to Cohorts are invited to attend the New Parent Cohort Kickoff immediately following the classroom visits.

NART Mission Trip Application Now Open - September 25 - 29

The Native American Reservation Trip (NART for short) is a trip focused on building bridges between the community of Bishop, CA, in the Sierra Nevadas, and the Paiute tribe. We are blessed to partner with our sister school, Orange Lutheran, on this initiative. While we serve together in Bishop, students will have the opportunity to share the love of Christ with the people through a variety of work and witness opportunities, including serving at local area churches, helping with yardwork and beautification projects at the homes of community elders, and even serving each other around the campsite as we prepare to serve and worship together. The trip dates are September 25 to 29, leaving early Thursday morning and returning Monday evening. Students will miss three days of school.

North Campus Art Gallery First Art Exhibition

Now through September 14, the Crean Lutheran Art Gallery is featuring Emotive Dominion by artist Ted Rigoni. This compelling exhibition explores the expressive power of hands during moments of athletic competition, reflecting strength, dominance, will, and emotion. On August 27, students are invited to join the Art Department at lunch for a special presentation where Ted Rigoni will share about his creative process and the themes behind his work.

Complimentary Will/Family Trust Seminar For Our Saints Community - September 9 & 30

Do you have a Will/Family Trust or a Medical Advanced Directive in place for your loved ones? Two-thirds of all adults do not have these important documents in place. Crean Lutheran has partnered with Financial Planning Ministry to provide this opportunity for families and friends to complete these documents at no cost to you. Last year, over 100 Saints families took advantage of this opportunity.
