2026 - 2027 Theme Verse

Every year, the faculty and staff of Crean Lutheran gather to pray over the coming school year and select a theme Bible verse to guide and encourage our community. The verse chosen for the 2026–2027 school year is Psalm 100:5. This powerful reminder points us to the unchanging character of God, His goodness, enduring love, and faithfulness that extends through every generation. As we begin a new school year, we do so with gratitude and confidence, trusting in the Lord's steadfast care and faithfulness in every season.

New Family Orientation Night - August 11

Join us for New Family Orientation on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. All enrolled Freshmen and transfer students, along with their parents, are invited to attend this important event for new families. Students will have the opportunity to connect with student leaders, explore the campus, and become familiar with classroom locations. Parents will hear from the leadership team, receive encouragement for the high school years ahead, and connect with other parents in the Crean Lutheran community.

We look forward to partnering with you to support your students’ success and helping to make this an exciting start to their high school journey. This event is for enrolled Freshmen, transfer students, and their parents only. A light meal will be provided. Please RSVP by July 24.

Smart Start - Driver Safety Class & Parking Permits

Smart Start is a safe-driving presentation provided by the Irvine Police Department, in collaboration with the Irvine Unified School District, to ensure the safety of our students as they begin their driving careers. 

Crean Lutheran High School requires Smart Start attendance and participation for students interested in obtaining a school parking permit. Smart Start only needs to be attended once. For this reason, there are various times and locations for the presentation. Students (grades 9-12) may participate in the presentation BEFORE or AFTER receiving their driver’s license.

College Blueprint Test Prep

As more colleges consider test scores in admissions decisions, Crean Lutheran High School will offer test preparation classes hosted by The College Blueprint. These classes will help students prepare for the PSAT and SAT exams offered on campus in October.

Classes will take place on Saturday mornings at Crean Lutheran, giving students the opportunity to work in small groups with experienced tutors from The College Blueprint. Students will learn valuable test preparation techniques, complete practice exams, and receive support in creating a personalized testing schedule.

Registration is now open for 2026 Summer Sports Training! This is a great opportunity for all athletes to build skills, meet teammates, and prepare for the season. Coaches also evaluate development during this time. Athletic clearance is required prior to participation, and Exer Urgent Care offers free physicals from May to July.

Crean Lutheran Athletics Pre-Participation Physicals

Exer Urgent Care is offering Crean Lutheran student-athletes FREE annual sports pre-participation physicals! Please see the attached flyer and make an appointment at one of their locations. Remember to print the physical form from the athletics webpage and bring it to your appointment for the doctor to complete.
