Concordia University Irvine's Instant Admission Day - Thursday, November 6

Receive your instant admission decision from Concordia University Irvine on Thursday, November 6, during lunch in the Fireside Room! Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to meet with an admissions representative and find out your acceptance status on the spot. To qualify, please come prepared with your completed Concordia application, official transcripts (with grades 9–11 posted), and a weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher (grades 9–12).

Letterman Jacket Ordering Event - Friday, November 7

Jostens will be on campus during lunch on Friday, November 7, for students interested in ordering a varsity letterman jacket. This is a great opportunity to try on jackets and check out the various customization options available. If you plan to place an order, please bring a completed order form and your varsity letter patch. Payment can be made in cash, check, or credit card.

Senior Lunch - Friday, November 7

Our next Senior Lunch is scheduled for Friday, November 7! All Seniors are invited to join us for free food and fellowship during lunch at the south end of Building A. This month, we’ll enjoy a fall feast featuring chili, soup, salad, and cornbread. 

Seniors, RSVP by Wednesday, November 5, to be entered into a gift card raffle! An RSVP is not required to attend; however, only Seniors who RSVP will be included in the raffle.

Parents, Senior Lunches are entirely run and funded by parents. Our Senior Lunch Committee needs your help to ensure we have sufficient food, supplies, and volunteers to bless our Seniors with a fun event. If you are willing to donate lunch items or volunteer to serve at the lunch, please sign up. If you would like to donate a gift card for our raffle, you can sign up.

American Legion Auxiliary California Girls State 

ALA California Girls State is a work and study program in functional government. Current issues are discussed in group sessions and during the legislative process. The ALA California Girls State program is a highly worthwhile and valuable opportunity for students who have completed their junior year to participate in a week-long session focused on learning, responsible citizenship, and leadership. The art of civil debate is one of the main skills learned at this premier program, hosted by the American Legion Auxiliary since 1937. Many ALA Girls State participants have gone on to a lifetime of service to our country in the military, civil service, or advocacy.

El Salvador Mission Trip Application Now Open!

The El Salvador Mission Trip is a fantastic opportunity to travel and witness how God is at work around the world! We will partner with Sus Hijos and focus on ministering to the orphan and foster care population of the capital city of San Salvador and its surrounding areas.

 Applications are now OPEN for the El Salvador Mission Trip and will close on November 7.

A Student Information Meeting will be held during lunch on November 21, and a Parent Information Zoom Meeting is scheduled for November 29 at 6:00 p.m.

Fall Choral & Instrumental Concert - Friday, November 7

Join us on Friday, November 7, at 7:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church for an enchanting evening of music as the Crean Lutheran High School Music Department proudly presents European Music Box. Enjoy timeless classics such as Phantom of the Opera, Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, Carmen Suite, and more, performed by our talented Saints musicians. Admission is free, and a free-will offering will be accepted.

The Blue Zone and the Theatrical Arts Department invite you to a special student-only performance of our fall musical, Little Shop of Horrors. Featuring the talented students of Crean Lutheran’s Theatrical Arts Department, this exciting event will take place on Saturday, November 8, at 6:00 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre. Tickets are only $10! Enjoy a night of music, laughter, and surprises, and see what’s growing in the Black Box!

With Hope, The Amber Craig Memorial Foundation Parent Webinar, November 19

On Wednesday, November 19, at 6:00 p.m., Annette Craig and Patti Ferraro from With Hope, The Amber Craig Memorial Foundation, will host a webinar for Crean Lutheran parents and guardians. With Hope is dedicated to suicide prevention through improving mental health awareness and education in our schools and throughout our community. During the webinar,  Annette Craig and Patti Ferraro will share information on recognizing the risk factors and warning signs for suicide, as well as how to talk to teens about their mental health and suicide prevention.

Trees for Troops Now on Sale! Order by November 28

Trees for Troops sales are now open! Order your Christmas tree, a Tree for the Troops, or other festive decor by Friday, November 28, to bless Crean Lutheran Student-Athletes, Athletics, and Missions! The adorable Reindeer and Snowmen sell out every year - so order now!

All items will be ready for pick-up between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, at the Crean Lutheran Athletic Complex. Any items not picked up will be donated to military families at the Pendleton Base.
