Varsity Football Game Tonight - September 12

Join us tonight, Friday, September 12, at 7:00 p.m. as Crean Lutheran Football travels to take on El Modena at Fred Kelly Athletic Stadium! Let’s pack the stands and cheer loudly for the Saints on the road!

Tickets are available exclusively on GoFan (no cash payments at the gate).

Campus Safety Reminders

• The only acceptable area in the parking lot to drop off and pick up your student is at the Yellow Curb alongside the Event Center.
• The right two lanes are for drop off and pick up only
• Curbside is for slower traffic/pick up
• Middle is for quick pick up (student on the curb, ready to go)
• Left lane for pass-through traffic
• PLEASE do not park your vehicle to drop off your students. This causes delays in the drop-off and pick-up flow. In the mornings, when you park, you are taking away parking spaces for our teachers, staff, and permitted students. 
• Acceptable off-site location to drop off and pick up your student is at the Athletic Complex (6301 Portola Pkwy, Irvine, CA, 92620)
• Dropping off or picking up on Sand Canyon or Portola is not permitted, is dangerous, and can result in a ticket from the Irvine Police Department.
• Speed limit in our parking lots is 10 mph!!
• Your safety and your student’s safety are our top priorities.

Student Club Applications

Student Club Applications open on Tuesday, September 2, and will be accepted until Monday, September 15. Students wishing to apply to start a club must complete this application. Both new and pre-existing clubs must fill out the application for this school year. 

Please read through the Club Requirements & Advisor Role document before applying. For a club application to be considered, clubs must adhere to these guidelines and have a faculty/staff advisor who has already agreed to advise your club. If you need assistance finding an advisor, please email SLT@creanlutheran.org before submitting your application. Here is a list of last year’s clubs. The Club Approval Committee will review all applications, and students will be notified if their club has been approved on September 18.

On Tuesday, September 23, all students will have the opportunity to join one or more clubs during Club Rush at lunch. Every accepted club will host a table with information about their club and a sign-up list for students wishing to join. We will follow an Extended Lunch bell schedule that day.

Blood Drive - September 18

In the United States, a blood transfusion takes place every two seconds. Hundreds of donations are needed daily to adequately supply the Southern California hospitals served by the San Diego Blood Bank. Come and save lives by donating blood at our upcoming Blood Drive on September 18, at the Crean Lutheran Fire Lane (near locker rooms)

Important Details: 

• Appointment required: Sign Up!
• This closed Blood Drive is only open to Crean Lutheran staff/faculty, students & parents.
• Donors must be 17 years old, weigh at least 114 pounds, and present a photo ID at the appointment. (Students between the ages of 17 and 18 may only donate blood every six months.)
• Graduation cords are available for students who donate twice by graduation.

Complimentary Will / Family Trust Seminar For Our Saints Community - September 30

Do you have a Will/Family Trust or a Medical Advanced Directive in place for your loved ones? Two-thirds of all adults do not have these essential documents in place. Crean Lutheran has partnered with Financial Planning Ministry to provide this opportunity for families and friends to complete these documents at no cost to you. Last year, over 100 Saints families took advantage of this opportunity.

Yearbook Recognition Ads are the perfect way to commemorate achievements and celebrate milestones. In addition, revenues from Recognition Ads help our school create a better yearbook. Early bird prices end October 10, so don't wait! Jostens is responsible for our school's yearbook ad sales and collections. Please do not contact or send materials to the school. Please also consider our school's content guidelines when creating your ad online. All orders must be created AND paid for collectively by January 23, 2026.

Financial Aid Application Now Open!

Crean Lutheran High School is pleased to administer a financial aid program that earnestly endeavors to assist as many families as possible in bridging the financial gap to attend Crean Lutheran. While financial aid awards are based on a family’s demonstrated need via a FACTS Financial Aid application, awards are also based on the available funding. 

The Financial Aid application for the 2026-27 School Year will be open starting Monday, September 1, 2025. If you have a new student for the 2026-27 School Year, you must have your Financial Aid application submitted no later than Saturday, November 1, 2025, to guarantee that your financial aid application is processed before admission decisions are sent out in December 2025.

If you have a returning student at Crean Lutheran and wish to apply for financial aid, please submit your application no later than Monday, December 1, 2025, to guarantee that your financial aid application is processed before your re-enrollment is due. The enrollment deadline will not be extended for pending Financial Aid applications.
