Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates
Crean Lutheran High School is transitioning on-ground and blended classes to an online learning modality, effective Monday, March 16, 2020. All extracurricular events and activities including athletics and performing arts have been suspended. Event Updates
  • The spring trip to New York has been postponed.
  • All cohort lectures, labs, field trips, conferences, and activities have been cancelled while classes remain online. 
  • The SAT/ACT Diagnostic Testing for Sophomores, scheduled on April 4, is postponed.
  • Poetry Night, scheduled for April 8, has been postponed. 
  • The Cohort Showcase, scheduled for April 22, has been postponed.
  • New Student Scheduling Night, scheduled for March 26, is currently under review. Updates will be emailed to incoming families by March 20.
  • The Visual and Performing Arts Information Night, scheduled for April 23, is being monitored. 
  • Freshman Parent Spring Reception, scheduled for March 23, has been postponed.
  • Grandparents Day, scheduled for April 2, has been cancelled. 
  • All athletic meetings, practices, games, contests, banquets, and tournaments are suspended.
  • The Jamaica Mission Trip, scheduled for April 11 - 18, has been postponed. 
  • The summer mission trip to Mexico is being monitored. 
Performing Arts
  • Rehearsals for all performing arts classes are suspended.
  • Spring Musical: Beauty and the Beast, scheduled for March 19-21, has been postponed.
  • Music: Spring Choral Concert “Seasons”, scheduled for March 27, has been postponed. 
  • Spring Instrument Concert, scheduled for March 29, has been postponed.
  • Pops Concert: scheduled for April 30, has been cancelled.
  • Dance Spring Showcase: scheduled for May 7 and 8 is being monitored.
  • The Odd Couple Theater Performance is being monitored.
 Student Life/Activities
  • International Week, scheduled for March 16-20, has been postponed.
  • The Parent Photographer Information Meeting, scheduled for March 16, has been cancelled.
  • Prom, scheduled for April 25, is being monitored.
Mr. Dan Fink Memorial Endowment
Mr. Dan Fink was a true blessing to our students, families, faculty, and staff! His years of service as a teacher, coach, and friend, reflected his deep passion and commitment to the people and ministry of Crean Lutheran.
In Dan’s honor, and with support of his family’s desire, we have established the Dan Fink Memorial Endowment at Crean Lutheran High School to support future needs of the school. His impact and legacy will be part of the Crean Lutheran story in perpetuity. Mr. Benne and Mr. Puls each successfully applied for a $1,000 grant from the TLC Endowment Fund from the Pacific Southwest District. The grant will be used for educational materials to promote student learning.
Matheaus Becker, Keyon Namdar, and Ryan Namdar collectively earned $10,000 in community service grant funding through The Dragon Kim Foundation Fellowship Program! They will join a cohort of 50 students across California to develop their entrepreneurship skills by developing and running a community service project of choice.
