News and Announcements

The Advanced Acting class, Honors Acting II, recently had the privilege of welcoming Broadway actor Timothy H. Lee, whose credits include KPOP: The Musical and Hadestown, where he served in the role of a Worker and as an understudy and became the first Asian actor to perform the role of Orpheus, as a guest speaker. He shared his personal journey into musical theatre, offering students an honest and inspiring look at the dedication, resilience, and faith required to pursue a professional career in the arts. Most impactful was his testimony of how his relationship with Christ continues to guide his artistic choices, work ethic, and sense of purpose. His visit left a lasting impression on the students, reminding them that excellence in performance and commitment to faith can grow together.

Crean Lutheran music students earned exceptional recognition this season, with several being selected to the prestigious All-State and All-Southern orchestras and bands through the California Orchestra Directors Association, California Band Directors Association, and the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association.

Students selected to the All-State High School Orchestra and Band include Abigail Han (Cello), Annabelle Jin (Viola), Claire Kim (Violin), Aidan Lee (Oboe), Jooha Bella Lee (Flute), and Nathan Youn (Double Bass). Additionally, Claire Kim (Violin), Ellen Kim (Violin), Annabelle Jin (Viola), and Abigail Han (Cello) were selected to the All-Southern High School Symphony Orchestra. Congratulations to these talented musicians on their outstanding achievements!

Congratulations to Senior Alex Euhus for earning his Eagle Scout rank! Alex made a lasting impact on Troop 243 in Tustin, serving as Senior Patrol Leader to 35 boys. For his Eagle Scout project, he engineered and built 2 children’s picnic tables for the Orange County Rescue Mission. We celebrate Alex for his perseverance in earning this honor. Well done, Alex!
