Financial Aid Application Now Open!

Crean Lutheran High School is pleased to administer a financial aid program that earnestly endeavors to assist as many families as possible in bridging the financial gap to attend Crean Lutheran. While financial aid awards are based on a family’s demonstrated need via a FACTS Financial Aid application, awards are also based on the available funding. 

The Financial Aid application for the 2026-27 School Year will be open starting Monday, September 1, 2025. If you have a new student for the 2026-27 School Year, you must have your Financial Aid application submitted no later than Saturday, November 1, 2025, to guarantee that your financial aid application is processed before admission decisions are sent out in December 2025.

If you have a returning student at Crean Lutheran and wish to apply for financial aid, please submit your application no later than Monday, December 1, 2025, to guarantee that your financial aid application is processed before your re-enrollment is due. The enrollment deadline will not be extended for pending Financial Aid applications.

Senior Lunch - September 12

Seniors, you’re invited to your FIRST Senior Lunch next Friday, September 12! All Seniors are invited to join us for free food and fellowship during lunch at the south end of Building A. This month, we’ll enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch featuring beef brisket and pulled pork sliders. RSVP by Wednesday, September 10, to be entered into a raffle for some great prizes! An RSVP is not required to attend, but only those Seniors who RSVP will be included in the raffle.

Parents, Senior Lunches are entirely run and funded by parents. Our Senior Lunch Committee needs your help to ensure we have enough food, supplies, and volunteers to bless our Seniors with a fun event. If you are willing to donate lunch items or volunteer to serve at the lunch, please sign up.

Student Club Applications

Student Club Applications open on Tuesday, September 2, and will be accepted until Monday, September 15. Students wishing to apply to start a club must complete this application. Both new and pre-existing clubs must fill out the application for this school year. 

Please read through the Club Requirements & Advisor Role document before applying. For a club application to be considered, clubs must adhere to these guidelines and have a faculty/staff advisor who has already agreed to advise your club. If you need assistance finding an advisor, please email SLT@creanlutheran.org before submitting your application. Here is a list of last year’s clubs. The Club Approval Committee will review all applications, and students will be notified if their club has been approved on September 18.

On Tuesday, September 23, all students will have the opportunity to join one or more clubs during Club Rush at lunch. Every accepted club will host a table with information about their club and a sign-up list for students wishing to join. We will follow an Extended Lunch bell schedule that day.

Blood Drive - September 18

In the United States, a blood transfusion takes place every two seconds. Hundreds of donations are needed daily to adequately supply the Southern California hospitals served by the San Diego Blood Bank. Come and save lives by donating blood at our upcoming Blood Drive on September 18, at the Crean Lutheran Fire Lane (near locker rooms)

Important Details: 

• Appointment required: Sign Up!
• This closed Blood Drive is open to Crean Lutheran staff/faculty, students & parents.
• Donors must be 17 years old, weigh at least 114 pounds, and present a photo ID at the appointment. (Students between the ages of 17 and 18 may only donate blood every six months.)
• Graduation cords are available for students who donate twice by graduation

NART Mission Trip Application Now Open - September 25 - 29

The Native American Reservation Trip (NART) is a trip focused on building bridges between the community of Bishop, CA, in the Sierra Nevadas, and the Paiute tribe. We are blessed to partner with our sister school, Orange Lutheran, on this initiative. While we serve together in Bishop, students will have the opportunity to share the love of Christ with the people through a variety of work and witness opportunities, including serving at local area churches, helping with yardwork and beautification projects at the homes of community elders, and even serving each other around the campsite as we prepare to serve and worship together. The trip dates are September 25 to 29, leaving early Thursday morning and returning Monday evening. Students will miss three days of school.
