Artist of the Year - Irene Kim
Junior Irene Kim was named the Orange County Register's 2019 Artist of the Year in Dance.

" In addition to technique and skill, it was Kim’s artistic inquisitiveness that helped lead her to top honors in the concert dance specialty and to be named the overall Artist of the Year in dance." -Greg Mellen, OC Register.

Extended Lunch Schedules - Tuesday, April 30 (Free Dessert) & Thursday, May 2 (Free Tacos)
There will be extended lunch schedules on Tuesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 2. All students can enjoy free dessert and lunchtime activities on Tuesday and free tacos and lunchtime activities on Thursday.
Half Day Schedule - Friday, May 3
There will be a special half day schedule on Friday, May 3 due to Prom later that evening.
Spring Dance Showcase - May 7 & 8
The Annual Spring Dance Showcase is themed "On Broadway" and will be held at Portola High School Theater . Dance performances will showcase different musicals such as, Singing in the Rain, Hairspray, Sister Act, Dear Evan Hanson and Wicked.

Performances will be Tuesday, May 7 and Wednesday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m.

Congratulations to our Spring National Signing Day Athletes! CLHS celebrated their accomplishments with a ceremony on Wednesday, April 17.

The Boys Track & Field team are 2019 Empire League Co-Champions! Senior Jack Johnson was named Track & Field Individual League MVP. Girls Track & Field finished third in the Empire League.
CLHS hosted Grandparents Day on Tuesday, April 16. Thank you to all our grandparents who spent the day with the Saints.

Professional pictures from the All Shook Up performance and Spring Choral Concert are now available. Thank you to the Saints Shutterbug Program for capturing these precious pictures.
39 students and 7 chaperones traveled to Compton to serve with the Compton Initiative on Saturday, April 13. One group of CLHS volunteers, made up of students from Mrs. Leah Dawson's art classes, painted a mural of presidents George Washington and Barack Obama at Washington Elementary School. The other group, made up of the Saints Boys Basketball program (as well as other awesome students) did various yardwork projects at the Angels for Sight eyecare clinic, which provides free optometry care to people in need from all over Southern California.
Senior Jon Scherer has been selected to play on the south OC All-Star team. The game is on Saturday, May 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Cypress College.
