Door Gabbai Sign Up

We are asking one person each Shabbat morning to be the door guard. That volunteer simply sits in the back while continuing to worship with the congregation and is able to hear the knock on the front door and then open and welcome folks joining our service. Thank you in advance for supporting our safety! info@hamakomtheplace.org 505-992-1905

FRAGRANCE FREE, PLEASE!

Respecting the health and well-being of our members, please refrain from wearing scented body oils and fragrances when attending services. Todah rabah.

From 10th grader Elie (Sussman) Broome

I am pleased to announce that I am participating in a fundraising effort for Israel's Fire and Rescue Services. This helps people keep safe in times of need and I would really appreciate it if you would donate and/or share this with others. I am trying to raise $5,000 by November 15th, so if you could help out, that would be really nice. A benefit of this fundraising effort is that if I meet my goal, I will receive a scholarship from the Jewish National Fund Dream Israel Initiative to the Ramah Semester in Israel Program that I hope to go on sometime soon.

Here is the link to the donation page.

I hope you have a good day.

Thank you,

Elie

Together with friends and family, the Santa Fe Botanical Garden is creating the David Salman Tribute Garden. Lauren Springer will be designing and planting the garden featuring many of David Salman’s noteworthy plant introductions. This is an exciting project honoring David Salman, z'l, and his contribution to horticulture and western gardening.
