Housing Assistance       
What: Landlords, renters, and homeowners, has rent or mortgage been a difficulty? The Iowa Housing Authority has a NEW rental and mortgage assistance program for those who are at risk of eviction or foreclosure from a documented COVID-19 related loss of income on or after March 17, 2020. Applicants must be low to moderate income (<80% Medium Family Income) and have NOT received the $600 CARES unemployment benefit. Applicants will be asked what their income is and to show how it has been reduced. Landlords must complete online documentation as well as the applicant. Assistance for up to four months or $3,200 may be available. See income limits here .
