Help Plan the Future of Iowa's Tourism Industry
What: The Iowa Tourism Office is leading efforts to create a five-year strategic plan for Iowa's tourism industry. This plan will help build a vibrant, sustainable and growing tourism industry in all corners of the state. The Iowa Tourism Office wants to hear from travel and tourism stakeholders to help inform and guide the planning process. Please take 15 minutes to complete a confidential survey and share your thoughts. Responses will be collected by Coraggio Group, a tourism-focused consulting firm.

Players Workshop Holding Open Auditions
What: Players Workshop is re-opening for the 2021-22 season with Ken Ludwig's hilarious "The Fox on the Fairway." There are open auditions for six parts, three males (one in the 18-30 range and two above 50 years) and three females (one in the 18-30 range and two above 50 years). Because actors will be working in very close contact with each other, COVID vaccinations are strongly encouraged.

Back to School Kickoff Event
What: Burlington Community School District families are invited to start the year with a fun filled game day at Camp Eastman. BCSD school busses will be departing from Grimes, Sunnyside and BHS to take families who would prefer not to drive. WIOA One-Stop Operator Request For Proposals
What: The Mississippi Valley Workforce Development Board is now accepting proposals for a Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act One-Stop Operator.
