What: The Hysterical Stitchers are at it again! We are making fabric masks for the community, and have masks on hand for walk ins. Community Mentors Needed!
What: The Club M Mentoring Program of Burlington Community School District is looking for community volunteers to become mentors and empower youth in our community to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their potential. The mentoring program uses adult volunteers to commit to supporting, guiding, and being a friend to a young person. By becoming part of the social network of adults, community members who care about the youth, the mentor can help youth develop and reach positive academic, career, and personal goals. Matches will be made on the basis of interests, skills, background, knowledge and temperament of both the young person and the mentor.

Heart to heART: Community of Caring
What: Patients staying in the COVID-19 wing at Great River Health need something to brighten up their days. You can help in two ways: create a piece of artwork that can be hung in their rooms or donate money to be used for art kits and supplies for the patients to use to pass time. Artwork donated can be from all ages and skill levels!

Girls On The Run 5K Fun
What: Join us for a 5K! This celebratory event is the culminating experience of the Girls on the Run curriculum. Completing the 5K gives the girls a tangible understanding of the confidence that comes through accomplishment as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals. Crossing the finish line is a defining moment when the girls realize that even the seemingly impossible IS possible.

Players Workshop Goes Online
What: Players Workshop will begin online productions with a PW Young Actor production of the comedic playlet, "Mother Goose Interrupted: This Little Piggy," presented with special permission of author T. Paint Pour on Canvas Class
What: We'll take you step by step and give you all the tips you need to create either a rainbow or monochromatic wave using a dutch pour technique on a 8x8 canvas. We'll provide all supplies. This class is outdoors in front of the Art Center. Cost is $20 for Art Center Members or $30 for non-members and includes all materials and instruction.

Senior Home Delivered Meals
What: Milestones Area Agency on Aging is seeking volunteers to deliver meals to homebound seniors in the Burlington/West Burlington area. Most routes take 30 - 45 minutes and utilize non-contact delivery. Volunteers can deliver as often as they wish - weekly, monthly, or on call.
When: Meals are delivered Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Volunteers pick up meals outside of the Milestones office at 10:30 AM.
