What: The Greater Burlington Partnership has been made aware of an email scam sent to a few people in our database. A Partnership employee's email address was compromised and used as the sender. Heart to heART Open Studio
What: Stop by our classroom and make something colorful and cheery for Great River Health Covid patients to brighten up their stay in the hospital. We will have supplies laid out for you to use. Artwork can be from all ages and skill levels! You can also donate money to be used for some art kits and supplies for the patients to use to pass time. Donations (art or money) can be dropped off to the Art Center Monday - Friday 10 AM - 2 PM and Saturday 12 - 4 PM. This will be an ongoing project. Please wear masks when you visit. Keep your distance of 6 feet from others. Hand sanitizer and sinks with soap and water are available. We will continue to wipe down all surfaces frequently. If you have not been feeling well, we ask you to stay home.

National Family History Month
What: National Family History Month, which is observed annually during the month of October, has grown and evolved on a national stage since its 2001 origin in Congress. Burlington Rotary - Once Upon a 5K Fun Run/Walk
What: A 5K Fun Run/Walk fundraiser of the Burlington Rotary Club to support the club’s literacy promotion and other programs for area children.
This event takes place through the historic Aspen Grove Cemetery, and takes the place of the club’s annual Barbecue Chicken Dinner, which we were forced to cancel due to COVID-19. The annual dinner was a major source of support for club initiatives. This is a non-timed event, taking place rain or shine, dress accordingly. Pets are not allowed. There are no refunds.
