This Weekend at The Hive
What: The fun starts tonight with 34 Raceway "Shake & Bake" Night! The Bees will take the field in special Talladega Nights-themed jerseys, with proceeds benefiting 34 Raceway's Kids Day this summer. Stick around after the game for a spectacular fireworks show! It's also Educator Appreciation Night, and all educators receive FREE admission with valid staff credentials. Capitol Theater Open House
What: The Capitol Theater is kicking off its 14th year of programming since reopening in 2012, and you’re invited to be part of the celebration! Get an exclusive first look at a large portion of the upcoming 2026–2027 season lineup and see what’s coming to the stage next. It's Buzzing at the Hive All Week Long
What: From June 8 through June 10, area youth baseball teams will take the field for Little League games under the lights. Gates open at 5 PM. Admission is just $2. Then on June 11, join the Bees for Strike Out Cancer Night. The team will take the field in specialty jerseys, with proceeds benefiting Des Moines County Relay for Life. It's also Buffalo Tavern Thirsty Thursday, featuring drink specials throughout the evening. Gates open at 5:30 PM, with first pitch at 6:30 PM.
