Bishop Grimes Reintroduces Social Presence Ahead of Catholic Schools Week
Since 1974, National Catholic Schools Week (CSW) is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. The theme for National Catholic Schools Week 2021 is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.” Through a weeklong schedule of events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities, and our nation.

Bishop Grimes students, faculty and staff will embark on a weeklong celebration beginning this Sunday, January 31, with the final day of CSW on February 5. Each day includes a theme, accompanied by school wide events celebrating all aspects of what makes a catholic education so special.

To highlight all CSW events next week at Bishop Grimes, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our three new and improved social media accounts, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. “We are streamlining and elevating the way we communicate our message,” Principal Allyson Headd explained. “The reintroduction of our social media presence is significant, and will allow for us to better showcase news, events, and updates to the Bishop Grimes community moving forward. Catholic Schools Week is the opportune time to do this, allowing us to emphasize how special BG and Catholic education are.”

We encourage all members of the BG community to participate in Catholic Schools Week! Make sure to tag us on any of our three social media accounts to be featured during #CSW21.
