Get Moving: Which Senior Center Will Win Walk-tober?

It’s time to get those walking shoes ready! The Delaware County Health Department is challenging local senior centers to participate in the Walk-tober Walking Challenge. The senior center with the most participants will take home a trophy and earn a celebratory party hosted by the Health Department!

Good Neighbor Senior Center will host an information and promotional session on Wednesday, September 30, where you can learn all the rules and regulations and find out how to help make your center the winning site. And we’re already seeing some great energy from our walking clubs, with Wednesday walks at Schoolhouse and Tuesday walks at Chester. Keep it up, and let’s see which SCS center comes out on top in this friendly competition!
