This new tax law will allow businesses to claim 20% qualified business income deduction, immediately deduct qualifying research and experimental expenses, maximize write-offs on equipment or building improvements, take advantage of enhanced small business stock exclusion, and maximize the enhanced employer-provided childcare credit. Make sure to visit their website to learn more and take action on benefits that may apply to you.

Joint Government Relations Meeting

The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce hosted the Joint Government Relations meeting on Wednesday, June 17th, forcing on updates with the Regional Public Safety Training Center. Superintendent and President of Sierra College, Willy Duncan, shed light on the new ~50 acre center that will be located off of Sunset Blvd and Fiddyment Rd. This center will enhance economic development for our region by providing state of the art training for all first responders such as a high-speed chase course, rifle and shooting range, and accessibility to resources without the implications and costs associated with travel expenses. Next steps include CEQA work, design and operational modeling processing, and phasing execution dependent on funding allocation.
