Tuesday, we were excited to start the day at our Brewing Opportunities Morning Mixer at Haute Coffee. They offer many delicious pastries and a variety of coffee options!  

Later that day we welcomed our new veteran-owned business, Junkluggers of Placer County. 

Our monthly orientation was held on Wednesday with about 15 new members meeting to connect and learn about the resources they have available to them with their membership.

We also welcomed three new members this week. Please join us in welcoming them to the Roseville Chamber:

Ignite Young Professionals is now accepting applications for its Leadership Council. Council members will help plan and execute Ignite events and programs while serving a two-year term, with monthly meetings held on the first Friday of each month at 9:00 AM at the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce.

We are seeking young professionals who are interested in developing their leadership skills, building connections with peers, and contributing to the future direction of Ignite.

Livestream registration is now open for our District 6 Congressional Candidates Forum on Thursday, October 8th from 10AM -12PM. The link to join the livestream will be sent out to those who register for that method the week of the event.

If you are interested in attending in-person, tickets are still available and limited! Each ticket is $35 and includes breakfast and coffee. Funds from this event do not go toward candidate campaigns.

We do have a new location for the event, which will be share with those who purchase tickets next week. We look forward to this informative discussion!

With the General Election approaching on November 3rd, the Roseville Area Business and Issues Political Action Committee (PAC) has put together a voter guide to help inform voters on business-friendly stances in the upcoming election. You can find the voter guide on our website.

A friendly reminder that the last day to register to vote is October 19th and County elections offices will begin mailing ballots as early as October 5th. Make sure to mail in your ballot at least 7 days in advance to be postmarked by Election Day on November 3rd, if opting for mail-in method.

The PAC hopes that you will make your voice heard and looks forward to continuing their work in advocating for our business community needs.

On Thursday, September 24th, Placer County’s District Attorney’s Office will be hosting a community Senior Resource Fair at Maidu Community Center from 10AM - 2PM. This event is a wonderful way to connect seniors will free resources such as flu shots, lunch, a technology clinic, and more!

This is a great opportunity for those working with our aging populations to connect them directly with resources, as well as to attend and learn more about our local senior support programs. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to meet over 60 senior based providers at this free event!
