This Monday, Roseville High School students got to take a look into the construction industry through an immersive Virtual Reality experience at the Roseville Venture Lab!
Students explored construction-related careers, gained insight into the many opportunities within the industry, and participated in an engaging panel discussion with local industry professionals. The session offered a firsthand look at the skills, education, and career pathways that help build our communities.
A sincere thank you to the City of Roseville for its investment in the Roseville Venture Lab, and to the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Placer Workforce Development Foundation. Through this partnership, we are creating meaningful opportunities for students to explore careers, connect with local employers, and discover their futures right here in Placer County.
And a special thank you to our outstanding panelists for sharing their time, expertise, and real-world perspectives:
- Jarod Heath – Greyscale Architecture, Inc.
- Noah Duncan – Lawson SSP Group
- Isaac Mendoza – IMC Builders
- Manuel Fierro – Sierra College Enrollment Specialist
By connecting classroom learning with hands-on experiences and industry professionals, we're helping students envision their place in the workforce and building a stronger talent pipeline for our region.
