Tuscarora Council Virtual Membership/Recruiting Kickoff

Thursday, August 13, 2020
7:00pm

We invite EVERYONE to join us for our virtual membership/recruiting session on the 13th to learn about all of the specific things you and your unit can do to encourage new families to join Scouting and become members.

Our 2020 Membership Plan Goals are to provide a simple plan for recruiting efforts; a consistent branding and message; and to provide exciting programs for all of our units to take advantage of.

We'll be outlining a strategy where we use several methods to invite families to join Scouting. Some of those methods are tried and true, while some will be brand new as we're all having to think way outside of the box as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and your help is needed in carrying them out.

We'll also cover the various recruiting materials and resources available for units at the Council Service Center. Shipments of "Join Scouting" yard signs, printed materials, and other promotional items are currently on the way. Our Scout Shop is stocking up with new Scout uniforms and handbooks. We're ready and excited for the wave of new Tuscarora Scout families to arrive!

It is strongly encouraged that EVERYONE tune in and join us for this informative session, especially those most in charge of your unit's fall recruitment efforts!

Registration link coming soon - Stay tuned for details!
