2020 Fall Trainer's EDGE (Train The Trainer)
September 19, 2020
8:00a. - 4:00p.
Camp Tuscarora
965 Scout Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524
Trainer's EDGE is the required "train-the-trainer" course for Council training team members, OA Lodge Trainers, and Wood Badge and NYLT staff members. It will also help those who may have trained for other organizations learn the BSA's training techniques and refreshes the skills of current BSA trainers.
The course is intended for both youth and adult trainers.
The purpose of the Trainer's EDGE course is to provide and help develop the platform skills of a trainer. It is meant to supplement the practice offered through Wood Badge and NYLT staff development, with a focus on the participant, while raising the level of skill a trainer brings to the staff experience.
While only practice can polish these skills, this course is intended to "train the trainer" on behaviors and resources, while offering hands-on, practical experience in methods and media. Emphasis is on how to be an effective trainer by learning great presentation techniques.
□        Registration begins at 8:00 am
□        Course begins at 8:30 am
