Volunteers Needed: Monster March

The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership is seeking volunteers for Monster March on Saturday, October 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This family-friendly event provides a safe, daytime trick-or-treating experience for young children and families, with more than 20 local businesses participating.

Volunteers are needed to monitor intersections outside the designated street closures, helping children and families safely travel between participating downtown businesses. Volunteers should arrive by 9:45 a.m. for check-in and instructions. The goal is to have two volunteers stationed at each intersection, and volunteers are welcome to assist regardless of the number available.

Interested in volunteering? Contact Stephanie Margelowsky at 920-322-2006, ext. 2, or events@downtownfdl.com for more information.

Your support helps make Monster March a safe and enjoyable community tradition for local families.

Support Single Parents Through Marian University’s Special #36 Pink Jersey Sale

Marian University is partnering with Green Bay Packers legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler to offer a limited-edition pink #36 jersey, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Marian’s Working Families Grant Program.

The program helps single parents pursue a bachelor’s degree while raising their children by providing tuition assistance, living stipends, emergency funds, mentoring, and other support. Since its creation in 2002, the program has helped hundreds of students work toward their degrees and build brighter futures for their families.

Inspired by Butler’s own experience growing up with a single mother who worked multiple jobs to support her five children, this partnership highlights the importance of helping single parents access educational opportunities and create a better future for the next generation.

Want to make a difference? Purchase the limited-edition pink #36 jersey and support single-parent students at Marian University.
