Road Work Continues on Bullard Ave./Palm Ln.

Construction on Bullard Ave is expected to continue next week. Traffic patterns may change. The lanes will be reduced on Bullard, and there will be no left turn out of Granada/Palm Ln. onto Bullard Ave. and no turning into Granada/Palm Ln from Bullard Ave. The U-turn onto Bullard (from south to north) will remain open. We ask for your patience as we adapt to the altered traffic patterns. Please reach out to our campus safety coordinator, Mike Johnson, with any questions.

Below is a rough map of one phase of construction to give you an idea of what you may encounter. There are several iterations to traffic flow changes, so please be patient and expect delays.

All Archway Trivium parents and guardians are encouraged to join us on Monday, August 26 for our PSO General Meeting followed by Coffee with the Headmaster. These are informal opportunities to connect with other parents, ask questions and learn more about our school. Both events will take place in the library and you are welcome to attend one or both events. Younger children welcome. Families may park in spaces along the north edge of campus or along pickup lanes around the field after 8:05 AM and walk to the front office. Please do not park in Student Parking.

Archway Trivium is partnering with Grads Photography for our school pictures and yearbook. School Picture Day is Tuesday, August 27. Students must wear their school uniform and follow dress code on Picture Day. Follow the link below to pre-order online.

If you would like to serve as a parent volunteer on Picture Day, please sign up in Membership ToolKit. You must have current Raptor clearance to serve on campus.

Archway Trivium will be hosting a Spalding Phonics and Singapore Math Information Night for Parents on Tuesday, August 27. These sessions will provide parents with an overview of our phonics and math curricula. Parents will learn about the curriculum, walk through examples and have the opportunity to ask questions. This event is for parents only. We hope you will join us!

Archway library classroom visits will begin at the end of August. We need two parent volunteers to assist each kinder, first and second grade class when they go to the library. If you are interested in volunteering, please make sure you have Raptor clearance and then sign up at the link below:

Registration is now open for all Fall Semester Clubs!

There are still openings in the following clubs:

• Crafts Club (3-5) - Mondays, beginning 9/9
• Squire Squad (3-5) - Thursdays beginning 10/3
• Mad Science (K-5), Thursdays beginning 8/29
• Yoga Club (K-5), Thursdays, beginning 8/29

Registration is offered on a first come, first serve basis, so don't delay! If a club is full, please join the Wait List to be notified should additional spots become available.

Students participating in clubs remain on campus after school and are directed to clubs by staff members. Parents should plan to pickup children using the driveline at the end of the club meeting time.

Our Copy Program is a service to our teachers. They submit requests and we copy, staple and more to give them back time in their busy days! No experience required; you must have Raptor clearance. Younger siblings are welcomed, but please bring items to keep them busy as the work room is an active space. The Trivium Lunch Program is entirely managed and distributed by our Parent Service Organization volunteers. This program is open to all students, faculty, and staff at Trivium. 

Volunteer in the Lunch Room

Sign up as a volunteer to help distribute lunches and receive free lunch from My Hot Lunchbox! (Volunteer Clearance through Raptor is required to serve). We will be awarding a $5 a day/per person credit to each school. All credits will be applied at the end of each month. Please email us at psolunch@archwaytrivium.org if you have any questions regarding the credits. Thank you for helping to make the lunch program a success at our school!

Additionally, we ask parents to help serve in the lunchroom to assist our 1st-5th grade classes and keep the lunchroom running smoothly. Younger siblings are welcome to serve alongside parents as a "Lunchroom Buddy." Volunteer clearance through Raptor is required for all lunchroom volunteers.

As a reminder: The front office does not accept food deliveries for students from restaurants/third-party vendors. Students must bring a lunch from home or order through My Hot Lunchbox.

Did you know the PSO runs an online shop, so you can order Spirit Wear all year round?! Order your favorite gear in the colors and styles you love. Shipping is a breeze--items ship straight to your doorstep! Students can wear Spirit Wear shirts on Spirit Days and at other school events, so order today! Our first Archway K-5 Spirit Day will be the half day, Friday, August 16.

Volunteers serving on campus must have a current Raptor clearance. Clearance is valid for one school year from July-June and volunteers must reapply each year.

Additionally, new volunteers must complete a school-specific one-time-only Mandatory Volunteer Training.

School Messenger Communication

Great Hearts and Archway Trivium continue to utilize the system School Messenger for emails, robo-calls, and text messaging to inform families of campus related academy emergencies and other communications. SchoolMessenger has a new automatic opt-in for text feature. During the registration/re-enrollment process families confirmed their wish to participate in text communications. Great Hearts will now automatically opt in contact information given during the registration/re-enrollment process with the options you selected. You will notice at the beginning of July you will be opted in for text messaging. If you would like to opt out of text messages simply reply STOP to the text from 67585. You can also enter the code 67585 with the message STOP to block any text messaging. Please note, if opting out, you will not receive texts regarding emergencies on campus.
