A Note from Headmaster Scott
|
Dear Archway Trivium Families,
This week, our faculty held a seminar on one of our third grade poems. This poem has rich language and powerful imagery. Our souls were moved as we soaked in its beauty and identified truths within it. I hope it can have the same effect for you. Please have a wonderful weekend!
The Lake Isle of Innisfree
BY William Butler Yeats
I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;
Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.
And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight’s all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet’s wings.
I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart’s core.
Heartily Devoted,
Clay Scott

Hello from your 2022-2023 PSO Board!
These first few weeks of school have been jam-packed with new information, get-togethers and a lot of patience as we all learn new routines and bridge our communities.
Your PSO Board bridges a relationship between parents/guardians and the school to bring events, activities, and support to our scholars and teachers. This relationship is critical to the wholeness of our community. Together, with all the parents and guardians at Archway Trivium - we ARE the PSO! We can accomplish great things!
The heart of our Parent Service Organization is to help build a strong community around our school and our children. If you’d like to get involved in a volunteer role with our PSO, the following opportunities are open:
- A strong lead for our Father Daughter Dance
- Volunteers for: our Uniform Exchange program, Teacher Appreciation Committee, Father Daughter Dance, Mother Son Adventure Day, Run the Virtues 5K, our upcoming Ren Fair, our new Copy Program for Teachers and more.
Thank you for being a light where you can be! Thank you for spreading kindness and a helping hand. Thank you to all of the volunteers in the lunchroom and all the supporters who have gone above and beyond to help ensure our teachers feel loved and appreciated. We welcome and encourage you to bring your ideas and support to PSO meetings and events! The PSO Board is excited to partner with you as we continue to build a strong community at Archway Trivium West.
Please reach out to Kimberly Alvidrez at President.ArchwayTriviumPSO@gmail.com if you have questions or if you'd like to find a great fit for your time and talents!

Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off/Pick-up
With the expansion of Archway and addition of the new building, there are significant changes to the traffic flow for the upcoming school year. Please carefully review the new Archway Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off and Pick-up and reach out with any questions. Taking the time to understand these procedures will help to ensure the safety of our students/staff and a smooth traffic flow.
Carpooling Update: Our east side pick-up lane has had a faster track and will now be our designated carpool lane.
If you have 2 or more Archway ONLY pick-up cards, you will be guided into this fast-track lane for a faster pick-up. Please be sure to have your pick-up cards ready to show our traffic controllers that you are carpooling so they can guide you to the appropriate lane. To maintain the flow of pick-up, others may be directed to the fast-track lane, but carpools will be given priority. Please do not enter the carpool lanes until you are directed to do so.
As a reminder, if you are picking up Middle School students DO NOT ARRIVE to campus before 3:15 PM. This creates significant delays. If you arrive before 3:15, we will ask you to go back into our pick-up lanes and try again.
Please follow the link below to review the DETAILED Archway Traffic Flow Plan and be sure to share this link with anyone authorized to drop-off/pick-up your children.
