A Message from Dr. Scott

Dear Archway Trivium Families,

This was an eventful week! Our semi-annual concert night was on Tuesday and Great Hearts Information Night was Thursday. We also had some exciting things happening in classrooms as well. With all the busyness, there was a particular moment I would like to highlight. As our 5th grade concert came to a close, I asked our audience members to stack the chairs in sets of 13. This is fairly routine inasmuch as I make this request at the end of all our events. We usually get a decent response. This week, our families took it to the next level. I stepped off the stage and walked to the light switch. I then briefly greeted a family before turning to the chairs. Imagine my surprise to find ALL the chairs stacked!

This is such a great community! On Tuesday, the service was about chairs, but our people pour into our community in so many ways day in and day out. Thank you all for being who you are and for all your wonderful contributions to Archway Trivium!

Clay Scott, Ed. D.

Headmaster, Archway Trivium

Pledge Leaders: Kennedy M., Braelyn E., Henry O., Samuel C., Makayla T.

PSO Snowstorm - 2024 Faculty and Staff Holiday Appreciation

The PSO Snowstorm is underway through Sunday, November 17!

Give to the Snowstorm Holiday Teacher Appreciation

Snowstorm is an easy way to show love to our teachers during the holidays. In lieu of gifts for each of your scholar’s six teachers, show your appreciation by giving an offering of thanks to be divided among Archway Trivium faculty and staff. This year, we are asking families to consider a gift of $50 per scholar to help us reach our goal. A donation of ANY amount is greatly appreciated!!

Families who contribute to Snowstorm will be acknowledged by name in a Snowstorm holiday letter sent to all faculty and staff.

Follow the steps below to help us bless our teachers this season:

Families who have not already given are asked to first give to Community Investment before giving a Snowstorm Holiday Gift. Please consider giving to help us reach our goal!

First, Give to Community Investment

Then, Give to the PSO Snowstorm

We know our scholars will want to share in this spirit! Scholars are invited to write a message of thanks and decorate a Snowflake Card for their teachers. All cards should be returned to their classroom so that they can be displayed outside the classrooms and in the hallways.

Literary and Historical Figure Day - Friday, November 22

Save the Date for our annual Literary & Historical Figure Day on Friday, November 22. Scholars are invited to choose a literary or historical figure from the Archway curriculum and come to school dressed as that figure* on Friday, November 22. This is a great way to celebrate our love of history and literature. All students are encouraged to participate!

Please Note: Students must complete and return a Costume Proposal Form to their classroom teacher in order to participate.

*Please remember that the character you choose should be from one of the Classics-to-Keep from the K-12 list, Greek or Roman Mythology or a historical character from our History or Science curriculum. It’s preferred, but not required, that your character looks like the author’s description of the character and not a movie version. If your costume will be at all see through, you must wear your uniform underneath. If you choose not to participate, you will need to come in uniform.

*All costumes must abide by dress code guidelines in the Family Handbook and must exclude any frightening or aggressive costumes or accessories.

Communication Updates

Latest News image.png

School Messenger Communication

Great Hearts and Archway Trivium continue to utilize the system School Messenger for emails, robo-calls, and text messaging to inform families of campus related academy emergencies and other communications. SchoolMessenger has a new automatic opt-in for text feature. During the registration/re-enrollment process families confirmed their wish to participate in text communications. Great Hearts will now automatically opt in contact information given during the registration/re-enrollment process with the options you selected. You will notice at the beginning of July you will be opted in for text messaging. If you would like to opt out of text messages simply reply STOP to the text from 67585. You can also enter the code 67585 with the message STOP to block any text messaging. Please note, if opting out, you will not receive texts regarding emergencies on campus.

Email Communications

If you know of parents who are not receiving these communications, please ask them to check their junk/promotions email folders, and then email bmcdonald@archwaytrivium.org for assistance.

You can also find ALL school-wide communications on our website on the Latest News page.
