A Message from Dr. Scott

Dear Archway Trivium Families,

This week was Homecoming week at Trivium Prep and today Archway is joining in on the festivities with our own spirit day. This annual event is celebrated at high schools and universities across the country as a means of connecting alumni and current students. The image of the academy as “home” for its scholars is beautiful and compelling. What does it mean to make this place home? What types of connections are included? Other such questions abound, but I’d like to focus for a minute on what is assumed in have a “homecoming.” You cannot have a homecoming without first having a home-leaving. In a sense, all that we do to grow our scholars is about preparing them to leave, to enter the larger world prepared to thrive. The habits, knowledge, and skills they take from this classical liberal arts education are designed specifically to do exactly that. Although it can be sad to think about our little ones growing up and heading off with genuine confidence, it is a singularly beautiful thing to see. My hope is that each has this experience one day. And when it comes, the Homecoming celebrations will be all the sweeter. Have a great weekend!

Clay Scott, Ed. D.

Headmaster, Archway Trivium

Pledge Leaders: Jonny R., Knox M., Raymond R., Duke J., Skye G.

Communication Updates

Latest News image.png

School Messenger Communication

Great Hearts and Archway Trivium continue to utilize the system School Messenger for emails, robo-calls, and text messaging to inform families of campus related academy emergencies and other communications. SchoolMessenger has a new automatic opt-in for text feature. During the registration/re-enrollment process families confirmed their wish to participate in text communications. Great Hearts will now automatically opt in contact information given during the registration/re-enrollment process with the options you selected. You will notice at the beginning of July you will be opted in for text messaging. If you would like to opt out of text messages simply reply STOP to the text from 67585. You can also enter the code 67585 with the message STOP to block any text messaging. Please note, if opting out, you will not receive texts regarding emergencies on campus.

Email Communications

If you know of parents who are not receiving these communications, please ask them to check their junk/promotions email folders, and then email bmcdonald@archwaytrivium.org for assistance.

You can also find ALL school-wide communications on our website on the Latest News page.
