General Knowledge
Happy Memorial Day Weekend! I hope that we all have an opportunity to take a minute among the fun and sun to remember those men and women who gave what Lincoln called the last full measure of devotion for our country. I remember my grandfather, who served in WWII. After the war, he dedicated his life to education as a history teacher and track coach. He remained in the Army Reserve after the war and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. His was a life well-lived and marked by devotion to his fellow Americans. To all of those who have served in our armed forces, all of the families of those who have served, and all who are still serving, thank you! This weekend, we remember your sacrifices.
With the holiday weekend, there is a lot being squeezed into the coming short week. The Finance Committee had to be rescheduled to Tuesday, May 26th. There is a Board of Directors Meeting on Thursday, May 28th, and a special board meeting on the morning of Saturday, May 30th. The Board meeting will include a number of resolutions that involve RV and Boat parking in neighborhoods and an update on our ongoing priorities, including our various stormwater projects. The agenda will go out in a separate email and be posted on the website. We hope to see you there.
The special board meeting on May 30th is an opportunity for members to see a presentation from Flock Safety and law enforcement. There will be an opportunity for members to provide public comment about the items on the agenda. This agenda will also be sent out in a separate email and posted on the website.
Tomorrow promises to be a busy day down at the marina, and a lot of us will be helping direct traffic, perform mussel inspections, and shuttle people to and from the overflow parking lots. Driving the shuttle is my favorite part.
Have a great weekend, and I will see you around the Ranch!
Jim

Good evening, everyone. Two items for your consideration.
1) The flyer for an upcoming NRWMAC fundraiser. We are hoping to get a large turnout of Nacimiento Lake community residents and your friends to attend this event. It looks like good food, a good variety of drinks, good raffle prizes, and a lot of fun!
This is a good opportunity to meet other lake community residents and meet the NRWMAC board members in attendance. You can click here and purchase your tickets online by tapping the "Get Tickets" link. Feel free to share the fundraising flyer with anyone you know who might be interested in attending this event. You can also purchase hard copy tickets from your lake community NRWMAC representative. If you do not know who your NRWMAC representative is, you can email me, and I will direct it to that person, or you can send an email to--info@nrwmac.org
2) NRWMAC board members sometimes get asked, What is your end game here? Bottom line, NRWMAC wants enough water in Nacimiento so all lake communities' launch ramps are usable from May 1st through Labor Day of each boating season. Feel free to reach out with any questions/concerns.
My best regards. Thank you, Bruce McFadden Heritage Ranch NRWMAC/email--bmc1212@sbcglobal.net
