Toddler Tea

Instead of Back to School Night, our toddler parents are invited to our Toddler Tea on Saturday, September 6th at 9:00 AM. The toddler guides will share information about children’s daily schedule, Montessori practices with young children and how to best support independence and growth. The Tea is also a great opportunity for toddler families to meet one another and come together as a community. Please join us by coming into the toddler playground instead of the main school entrance and we look forward to seeing you then!



Child care will not be provided.

Back to School Night

September 2nd

5:30 PM Refreshments will be served in the Community Room. Join us early to socialize and meet other TMS families.

6:00 PM Our program will begin with a welcome from Jonathan Alden, Head of School. After some general whole school items, we will dismiss you to the classrooms to meet the guides and learn more about the year ahead.

Carline: Drop-off & Pick-up 

*Please review the guidelines for carline to prepare your child(ren) for the routine.

Toddler Carline

• Parents form a line at the Toddler Entrance gate.
• Park and put on flashers.
• Remove child from car on curb side only and walk to gate; put child in car at dismissal from curbside only.
• For morning drop-off, the first three cars can accompany their child to the gate while families behind the third car should wait to pull up and get out of the car.
• Parents say 'goodbye' to their child at the gate or pick up from the gate in the afternoon.
• Guides escort children into and out of school.
• Parents arriving after 8:45 AM must park in front of school and escort their child to the main entrance and follow late arrival directions.

Children’s House & Elementary Carline (Main Entrance)

• Cars should pull up as far as possible; the far pillar of the entrance is where the first car in line should stop (at Main Entrance).
• Parents remain in cars while in the carline.
• Staff will unbuckle children and remove them from the car at drop-off, and children must be ready to exit the car as soon as staff arrives.
• Staff will escort the child to the car at pick-up, but the parent must buckle the child in after pulling forward and parking in a vacant parking spot.
• Children may only exit a car attended by a staff member.

TMS has partnered with The Run Around to provide families with the opportunity to purchase school merchandise. We have Toddler, Youth, and Adult sizes in a variety of items. Show your school spirit and purchase today! All items will be ready in time for the Fall Carnival!

Please note, all ordering must take place by September 7th! We cannot extend the deadline.

Ice Cream Social

Sept. 5th

3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

We invite the TMS community to join us for an ice cream social to celebrate the first week of school! After picking up your child, please park and head to the back area of the school to be with friends!

Pizza

Pizza will continue to be served on Thursdays. Please note, we will be asking families to fill out the form for the year. Cost for 1 slice will be $82.50 and for 2 slices, the cost is $165. Please fill out the form if you are interested.
