Montessori Mornings

Upcoming Education Events

We look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming education events! Join us to learn more about Montessori education and how it can support your child’s growth and development. Attend one, two, or all three sessions, and enjoy light refreshments as we explore the Montessori approach through the topics below.

TODAY!

Coffee & Curiosity

November 14th @ 8:45 AM

Learn how the Montessori approach nurtures a love of learning, independence and respect — from toddler age through 6th grade — helping children become engaged learners, compassionate leaders, and thoughtful stewards of the world.

What to Expect:

  • A welcoming environment with fresh coffee
  • Insights into Montessori learning across age levels
  • Open Q&A to explore your questions and interests

Lower Elementary Program Information Session

November 19th @ 8:45 AM

The Lower Elementary session provides an opportunity for Children's House and Lower Elementary families to learn more about the continuation of their child’s Montessori Elementary experience. We will discuss the 6-9 year-old plane of development and how the Lower Elementary classroom continues the key tenets of Montessori education - the prepared environment, didactic materials and the Cosmic Curriculum, self-directed learning, and a multi-age classroom community.

Upper Elementary Program Information Session

December 3rd @ 8:45 AM

The Upper Elementary session provides an opportunity for Lower and Upper Elementary family members to learn about how the Upper Elementary Program serves as the “capstone” for their child’s TMS education and supports development through the final years of elementary. During the event you will hear about the goals of the Upper Elementary Program, the Three Year Cycle, the Cosmic Curriculum, and how your child’s Montessori experience has prepared them for Upper Elementary and beyond.

Mystery Reader with Mrs. Janeczko

Thank you Mrs. Helfand, Molly's mom, for visiting.

We’re grateful for the strong, joyful community that defines TMS. This year’s Annual Fund supports two exciting priorities—enhancing our Elementary Playground and expanding our Library Collection with new titles and updated technology.

Every gift, no matter the size, directly enriches our students’ daily experiences and strengthens our Montessori community.

Join us in supporting the Annual Fund today and help TMS continue to grow and thrive!

Montessori Moment

Come to our Parent Coffee this morning to learn more!

"We cannot treat children the same way in the different developmental periods. They do not need the same care, the same environment, the same methods. If education is to be based on life, it must be adapted to all these differences. "
