Meet Our New Staff

Cameryn Bedore joins our staff as a Toddler Assistant. She has previously worked with infants as both an assistant and lead teacher. Cameryn is a certified veterinary assistant who has experience working with animals. She looks forward to the daily toddler nature walks. Outside of school, Cameryn enjoys working out at the gym as well as arts and crafts. Her artistic direction led her to become a tattoo artist three years ago. Above all, she is devoted to always learning new and exciting things!

Hannah Ableman joins our staff as the Upper Elementary Assistant. She has taught in classrooms ranging from pre-kindergarten to high school and each summer supervises the arts program at a sleep away summer camp in the Pocono Mountains. In addition, Hannah attended Dickinson College with theater and educational studies majors. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys community theater and traveling solo. We look forward to seeing her theater skills in action with the UE play in the spring!

Manjula Arulselvam joins our staff as our hallway monitor and nap assistant. Her previous work experience has provided her with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Manju is also familiar with Montessori education and our school community, as her two children attended Children's House with Mrs. Janeczko many years ago. Manju has a passion for crafting and enjoys creating projects with both recycled materials and craft supplies. She loves finding creative ways to turn simple materials into something beautiful. Welcome back!

Fall Carnival Planning Meeting

Our annual Fall Carnival is always a community favorite, and we need your help to make it a success! We have volunteer opportunities for all skill levels and schedules, whether you can lend a hand with one small task or take on a larger role.

To make participating easy, all planning meetings are held virtually in the evening to accommodate busy schedules.

Montessori Moment

The Power of Connection

One of the most special aspects of our school is the meaningful bond that develops between a child and their guide. In a multi-age Montessori classroom, children have the opportunity to remain with the same guide over multiple years, allowing trust, understanding, and connection to deepen over time.

That bond is especially evident on the first day of school, when children eagerly anticipate reuniting with their guides. This year, one child was so excited to see his beloved guide that he begged to be unbuckled and sprinted from the car just to give her a hug!

Moments like these are a wonderful reminder that learning is rooted in relationships. We love witnessing these connections and know that the sense of trust, belonging, and security they create plays an important role in each child’s growth and development.
