Windows 10 End of Support and Security Updates - Prepare Now before October

If your practice is running ophthalmic equipment on an unsupported operating system, you're not just behind on an upgrade. Unsupported equipment creates documented, discoverable risk that tends to surface at the worst possible moments.

Your AOA Member Benefit: Patient & Community Education Downloads Library

This is your exclusive, curated collection of clinical and topical educational handouts, as well as community outreach tools—ready to download and print right in your practice. Summer's a great time to look at your credit card(s)... AOA's credit card is a GREAT place to start...

How to Determine the Right Business Credit Card for Your Optometry Practice

Most optometric practices have a business credit card for expenses such as equipment and supplies. Knowing what to look for in a business credit card can provide added flexibility to your practice. Here are a few features to keep in mind:

Rewards: Credit card companies offer rewards points that you can redeem for cash back, travel, or statement credit. These points can be an important bonus but be sure to read the fine print for

restrictions and details on how these points are calculated— companies might offer an eye-catching rewards bonus but restrict points to certain purchases or limited times.

Benefits: Look for added perks such as discounts on products or services, or AOA member dues

reimbursement.

Annual Fee: Some credit card companies will charge an annual fee just for using their card. Finding a card with a low fee or no annual fee is an easy way to save.

Credit Impact: Look for a business card that will be linked to your business, so your personal accounts and assets have no liability.

AOAExcel endorses a business card built for the specific needs of AOA member practice owners. Learn more about AOAExcel’s credit card offerings at aoa.org/aoacard.
