Parent-to-Parent Social – Tonight!

All K-12 parents are invited to attend a Parent-to-Parent Social on this evening, Friday, April 4, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

We’ll just move the party inside due to the weather and enjoy a date night indoor yard party! Lawn games, appetizers, and beverages will be provided by the Parent Service Association (PSA). Come enjoy an evening of community. 

No registration is necessary at this adult-only event. We hope to see you there!

Fifth-Grade Field Trip Permission Form Due Today

All fifth-grade students will travel to the Pikes Peak Center during school hours on Friday, May 2, to rehearse before their Fine Arts Night performance later that evening. Please complete the field trip permission form and pay the $10 bus fee today. Contact Mr. Gonzalez with any questions.

Join the club and learn the fundamentals of running while competing with friends!

Practices are held Tuesdays and Wednesdays at MacLaren from 3:15-4:10 p.m., starting Tuesday, April 8. Athletes will gather on the plaza, in front of the gym for practice. 

Runners compete in three meets, held at Doherty High School Track on April 27, May 4, and May 11, all at 1:00 p.m.

Free Dance Lessons for Juniors and Seniors

Juniors and seniors are invited to attend free dance lessons in preparation for Spring Formal. Naomi Skee, a MacLaren parent, will be providing the lessons on Wednesday, April 9, 3:45 - 4:45 p.m., in the Commons. A sign-up form for students will be available at the clan table in the trophy hallway.

Junior and Senior Spring Formal

MacLaren juniors and seniors are invited to the Spring Formal, April 12, at the Pinery at the Hill. Group photos will be at 6:30 p.m.; dinner and dancing will be 7:30 - 10:30 p.m. It is sure to be a magical night of dancing and celebration for our upperclassmen!

Opportunities to Volunteer in Lower School

Do you have 30-40 minutes available in your morning that you could spend reading a story to Kindergarten children or helping third-grade reading groups? Many of the Lower School teachers welcome volunteers in their classrooms and a variety of options are available.
