Chamber Launches Retail-to-Go with City
|
|
Your Greenville Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Convention & Visitors Bureau, Main Street Office & the City of Greenville, is launching a Retail-to-Go program on Friday, April 24, so retailers can communicate to us how they are conducting business. We will be sharing the information we gather from local retailers on our main “Greenville Chamber of Commerce” Facebook page. Recently, State officials announced that some sectors may re-open if they abide by specific guidelines. See guidance for employers, employees, & customers of reopened retail services
:
This is how retailers can help us spread their news:
Retailers may go to the Greenville Chamber of Commerce Facebook page and write a post that contains how they are conducting business by following this simple template:
Business Name
Address
Phone Number
Hours
How will they do business?
In Store Shopping
Phone in Orders
Website
Facebook
Delivery
Curbside Pickup
Once we review and post this information, the City will periodically share this info to the “Travel Greenville Texas” page, “Downtown Greenville Events” page and the “City of Greenville” page. We are asking you to let managers of retailers know of these efforts and please like and share our posts.
Restaurant & food information still needs to be posted to the “Greenville Restaurant Modifications for Pandemic” Facebook page.
Our goal is to stabilize local jobs and to restart income revenue for our retailers and sales tax revenue for our City.

Does Your Service Organization Need Volunteers?
The Greenville Chamber joined with the Rockwall Chamber recently on a zoom meeting with Senator Bob Hall & his local representative, John Vick. Senator Hall suggested that there are organizations serving area communities that may still need volunteers. We had a collective conversation that in some cases there are employees of companies getting paid from home but may have some idle time. If there are any service organizations that need volunteers (like Meals on Wheels etc.), please let the Greenville Chamber know. We will then put out information to see if there is anyone willing to fill your need. Please be specific in your request/needs so we do our best to help you find a match. On this request, contact the Greenville Chamber by email at
