RHP seniors receiving some goodies from the Family Association as they arrive to school.

Happy Friday, Husky Community!

On Wednesday this week, seniors were greeted with some sweet treats to start off their school day. Parent volunteers handed out treats in the morning as seniors walked through the gates to celebrate the 24th of this month for the Class of 2024. There are many exciting events planned throughout the year for seniors so that they can enjoy their last year at RHP to the fullest. We’ve already had Senior Sunrise, two sweet monthly celebrations, and the beginning stages of creating the famous senior tiles with Ms. Rudolph. Each senior gets to design and paint their own tile, which ultimately gets arranged into a large collage. It’s one of the unique activities that only seniors get to participate in and what the younger Upper School students can look forward to when it’s their turn.

Speaking of celebrating seniors, the Boys and Girls Upper School basketball teams will be holding their annual Senior Recognition Night tomorrow, Saturday, January 27 at Harbor College. The ceremony for the boys' team will start approximately at 3:40 p.m., and the ceremony for the girls' team will start approximately at 5:40 p.m. (after the boys’ game is over). Please join us in honoring all the senior basketball players for their hard work and dedication.

Lastly, this is a friendly reminder that Student-Led Conferences will take place on campus next Thursday, February 1 and Friday, February 2. There will be no classes for students on both days. We appreciate your efforts to be on time for your scheduled conference. Have a pleasant and joyful weekend!

Warmly,

Christina Morse

Acting Head of School

Student Led Conferences – Please Sign-Up via Pick-A-Time

An important part of a student's growth and learning is the connection between the school and family. Therefore, having students lead their conferences and share with you about their learning goals and reflections is an important part of our program for all our students. The 25 minute conferences are student-led and in person with parent(s)/caregiver(s) and the student's advisor.

Student-Led Conferences are:

  • Thursday, February 1st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday, February 2nd from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Please sign-up via the Pick-A-Time button on your Blackbaud Resource Board. Sign-ups will open up today and remain open until Wednesday, January 31st at 9 a.m.

We will be closing Pick-A-Time after this date and time to ensure advisors have their schedules set for Thursday and Friday. Any reason a scheduled time needs to change, will have to be emailed directly to your student's advisor.

If you have any questions regarding Pick-A-Time, please reach out to Adriana Alejandre at: [email protected].

If you have any questions regarding conferences, please contact your student’s advisor and/or Christina Pak at: [email protected].
