Greetings Husky Families,

As you can see from the banner photo above, performing arts are thriving in the community, despite the intricacies of hosting live performances from homes around the South Bay. Sincere congratulations to our singers, musicians, and our wonderful emcee for a memorable and entertaining Coffee House on Thursday!

If you haven’t checked your inbox today, you’re in for a nice surprise when you see our first-ever virtual Annual Report, celebrating the “Grit and Gratitude” shown by so many of our community members in the 2019-20 school year. Your philanthropy and support helped us grow and improve in countless ways, from a nascent IB Middle Years Programme to technology upgrades to continued support of our incredible faculty. Please know how sincerely we appreciate your commitment, and the love you show for our community in so many ways.

In my conversations this week with parents, faculty, and staff, there is understandable fatigue and a concrete readiness to move forward past our current situation. I was fortunate to be in a meeting with nine of our students today, and the strength and resilience they demonstrated were humbling, and a lesson for all of us on carrying on and just doing our best.

Sincere thanks to all of you for doing the best job possible partnering with us to raise this incredible generation of young people.

Very Sincerely,

David
