Dear Husky Community,

As we hurtle toward the holiday season and the first trimester comes to an end, I want to thank all of you who have contributed to the various events and initiatives that have taken place this trimester. Although traditions like the Fall Play, Grandparents' and Friends' Day, and even this week’s Parent-Teacher Conferences have all been virtual, it is a testament to our community that the enthusiasm and energy remain. Please accept a very sincere thanks for all your participation and support!

Additionally, last week’s Discover Day was a great success, with over 40 families joining us to hear about 2021-22 admissions. Enthusiastic students took part in the panels we provided for prospective families, and many of you referred interested friends to learn more about us. Since the event, we heard nothing but positive responses from families who were delighted by the energy and spirit our community brings to the educational process even in a distance-learning environment.

In the spirit of the Holiday Season, I’d like to remind you that #GivingTuesday is coming up on Tuesday, December 1, and that it’s a great opportunity to make your Husky Fund gift. #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and after the widely recognized Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It’s a special day that kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and year-end giving, and it connects diverse groups of individuals, communities and organizations for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving. This #GivingTuesday, please consider giving back to the students and teachers of Rolling Hills Prep, Renaissance, and REACH Schools by making a donation to The Husky Fund.

In other holiday news, we also have our inaugural week-long Husky Turkey Trot starting tomorrow! You can kick off the event by picking up your Turkey Trot T-shirt on campus on Monday, November 23 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 pm.

On behalf of all the teachers, staff, and students who benefit so much from your continued generosity, thank you for supporting our schools and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
