December 18, 2020
Note: Due to current circumstances surrounding COVID, all learning will be virtual from January 4 to January 15.
Dear Husky Community,

It is with the utmost sincerity that all of us here at Rolling Hills Prep, Renaissance, and REACH schools wish you and your families the very best of holidays. We look forward to bright days ahead as 2021 hopefully sees us return to normalcy for our students and faculty. Although we have pivoted to distance learning while maintaining a relentless focus on Sound Character, Healthy Bodies, Creative Spirits and Disciplined Minds, we all look forward to campus-based learning when the time arrives.

For the cohorts that were on campus before the Thanksgiving Break, we are delaying their return until January 19 after the long holiday weekend. In addition to having students getting academic support, we are also organizing activities for afternoon sessions that will be announced upon our return in January which include sports (including team practices), games, the arts, STEM, and even senior tiles. Unfortunately, due to the Department of Health regulations, students will be restricted to ONE cohort. Look for sign-up information during the week of January 4. All of these initiatives, of course, are contingent upon our ability to provide them with an absolute minimum of risk to those involved.

Until January, we thank you for your ongoing support and the partnership we share in raising your children. Have a peaceful holiday season,
Head of Schools

Senior Speeches
Kennedy Cordts

"Now, I finally feel like I have a voice and a sense of belonging. I’m able to make friends much more easily, and I don’t feel embarrassed or scared to ask for help from my teachers anymore. I’m a much happier and confident person than I was when I first came to RHP. That change started with me, but it was the support of my teachers and my friends that encouraged me to keep pushing forward."

We will be offering several admission-oriented "Discover Days" and virtual tours in the coming months and we would greatly appreciate it if you passed the word along within your network of family and friends.
