Carmel Cares Car-week Cleanup!
Thank you to the volunteers of Carmel Cares for their Pre Car-week Cleanup efforts! Sidewalk pressure washing has been started, which is public/private partnership with the City and will continue over the coming weeks throughout downtown. Also, a group of dedicated volunteers did deep cleaning of 25 ribbon cans including intense scrubbing, picking up trash from inside, and wiping down the outside. The cars won't be the only thing looking sharp when all the visitors show up!

Contractor 'OntheSpot' getting to work on the sidewalk washing | Volunteer Jan was kept busy directing passersby, cleaning windows, and helping to make sure no water got into the storm drains | Making sure the runoff doesn't get into the storm drains | Volunteers Nancy, Carol, Emily, Eileen, Lydia, Gwyun, Terry, and Kellly getting to work on the trash cans in town! | |

Many thanks for all the kind words and well wishes during this little trial of an issue with my sciatica - should be good to go from here. I can't express my gratitude enough to Brandon and the team for carrying some extra weight while I was working remotely. It's good to be on a team where we all look out for each other, and ensure things get done.
Will be good City Council meetings next week; please come to City Hall to share your thoughts.
Until I see you on the streets, take good care. CR.
