Friday Ministry Spotlight: Partners in Education

Sharon Maddox and Ashlan Laedlein lead our Partners in Education ministry which exists to support 11 local schools (Hellen Caro Elementary, Blue Angels Elementary, Pleasant Grove Elementary, Warrington Elementary, Navy Point Elementary, Warrington Prep, Bailey Middle, Achieve Academy, Escambia High, Hope Horizon, and Perdido Bay Preschool). Along with their faithful volunteers, on behalf of the church they coordinate and deliver meals, gifts, and treats to teachers and faculty throughout the entire school year. It is our hope that these individuals will feel the love of Jesus Christ through the encouragement that we endeavor to give! Below you'll find a word from Sharon and Ashlan.

We wanted to share some exciting news about our Partners in Education initiative this week. We delivered a whopping 816 donuts to teachers in eleven local schools! It was truly a heartwarming experience to see the smiles on their faces as we expressed our gratitude for their dedication and hard work. 

This wasn't just about the donuts, although they were certainly a sweet treat! It was about showing our appreciation for the incredible effort our teachers put in every single day, shaping young minds and nurturing the next generation. Their tireless commitment to our community deserves all the acknowledgment and encouragement we can offer. Your support was instrumental in making this gesture of thanks a reality. Our church is truly making a difference in the lives of our educators and, by extension, the children they serve.
