Friday Ministry Spotlight:

Preschool Graduation

On Wednesday evening of this week, our Sanctuary was full of life as we celebrated the end of the year for the PBMC Preschool and the graduation of our Pre-K students!

Each class presented a songs (both extremely silly and quite profound), dances, scripture verses, etc. The kids, ages 1-5, practiced throughout the week and were so proud to perform for their parents and loved ones. They marched in at the beginning of the ceremony to "ABC" by the Jackson 5 and concluded the night with photos with their biggest fans in the Sanctuary as well as cookies in the Gathering Lobby. In between, there was a slideshow featuring all of the fun and memorable moments from the school year, along with meaningful songs selected by Bridget Simpson, our Preschool Director. There were likely few dry eyes in the room by the time the slideshow concluded!

Our graduating class consists of 13 precious children who will now move up to Kindergarten in various locations, near and far. Some have spent years here, and some have moved to the area recently. We wish these families the best as their children continue to learn and grow into who God has made them to be!

Many of these children have spent more days here than we can count. They've grown from babies into bright girls and boys who have developed countless skills socially, physically, mentally, and beyond. Most importantly, they have learned that God loves them, and we pray that they take that with them all the days of their lives. What a great honor and joy it is for Perdido Methodist Church to be able to provide this opportunity on our campus!
