SPOTLIGHT ON OUR PRESCHOOL!

An interview with Bridget Simpson, Preschool Director

Tell us about the ways you are seeing God working at the preschool?

We see God in the way the children understand their world. We talk about living and non-living and how God created all of the living things. We see how they grow to understand that they are special and each one is created in His image. We see them grow in love for their friends. We have also seen how this program has impacted families in that many have returned to church through the example of love they see exhibited by our teachers and families.

What are some specific ways we, as a church, can pray for the preschool?

Please pray that our teachers will continue grow in dedication to the ministry of loving and educating young children. It is a ministry with many challenges, (don't all ministries have them). Pray for our families that they will raise their children with Jesus and for these children to know how very loved they are.

What is something funny that has happened recently?

We laugh a lot about the stories the children tell us about their families. There are no secrets at this age. We also know that they have a tendency to exaggerate or not understand the situation. It is very funny. Potty training or bathroom time is also a source of humor. There are some that give a talking narrative of what is happening. We remind them we do not need to know, any of it.
