What is your Role for the County?

 
I am a Clerk at the Tax Commissioner Office. The Tax Commissioner Office provides the following services:
  • Issue tags for vehicles, boats, and trailers
  • Issue decals for mobile homes
  • Collect property taxes

How long have you worked for Ben Hill County?

  • 4 ½ Years

What is your favorite part of your job?

 

I love meeting and greeting the public. I take pleasure in knowing that in a day's work I have served the public when I help them accomplish their reason for coming to the Tax Commissioners Office. At the end of the day, my desire is that everyone questions and concerns have been answered and they are satisfied.

The Fitzgerald-Ben Hill Co. Chamber of Commerce Women's Luncheon was held Thursday, March 7th.
Holley Lee Director of Community Relations PR/ Marketing - Dorminy Medical Center gave the group a  
tour of the hospital on Women's Health.  
 
Lunch was also served from the Dietary Department.

Bedroom Store & More is looking for someone to work 30+ hours a week to help with unloading & loading furniture. You would also keep the store inventory and showrooms organized. You will be in charge of scheduling deliveries and managing the delivery team members.

Must be self-motivated and have good communication and time management skills. Pay is based on experience.

Must have a valid driver's license and must be able to drive a truck with a cargo trailer.
